Physical DescriptionA glazed stoneware ceramic trinket box in the shape of the center portion of the White House with a lawn around it. The base is green and blue, and the inside is gray. The lid is lettered "To President and Mrs. Reagan In Commemoration of The 20th Anniversary of the American Conservative Union 'The Revolution Continues' March 1st, 1985."The Revolution Continues" on the inside.
Historical NoteIt was presented to President Ronald Reagan by Robert Dolan, the then-President of Young Americans for Freedom of Sterling, VA at the 12th Annual National Conservative Political Action Conference Dinner, which was held at the Sheraton Washington Hotel on March 1, 1985. There, President Reagan said, "I spoke in the State of the Union of a second American revolution, and now is the time to launch that revolution and see that it takes hold. If we move decisively, these years will not be just a passing era of good feeling, not just a few good years, but a true golden age of freedom."

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
