Physical DescriptionA white ceramic commemorative plate with a gold edge. The center image depicts a bride and groom sitting at a table and toasting each other with champagne glasses. The red text on the plate states, "Mar. 4, 1952-1984 Ronald W. Reagan Wedv Nancy Davis." The back of the plate is stamped with black text stating, "NOT FOR FOOD USE FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY MADE IN JAPAN (C) SPENCER GIFTS, INC. 1979."Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
