Physical DescriptionAn oil painting depicting a countryside scene with two oxen pulling a cart with two boys seated inside. A man in a white shirt and cowboy hat walks in front of the oxen. The painting is signed in the bottom right-hand corner and 1986. The frame is made from dark wood with a canvas edge.
Historical NotePresident Ronald Reagan met with José Azcona del Hoyo, President of Honduras, during a working visit on May 27, 1986. After a welcome in the East Room, the two presidents met privately in the Oval Office and then with American and Honduran officials in the Cabinet Room.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
