Physical DescriptionA yellow Wisconsin license plate lettered “AMERICA’S DAIRYLAND 1 4GIP JAN WISCONSIN” in black raised letters. In the lower right corner is a red license tag sticker with an outline of Wisconsin in black, lettered “WIS” diagonally in red and “86” in black. There are four round holes at the edges of the license plate. The back is plain silver.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
