Physical DescriptionA tatted American flag mounted on a black background is displayed in a gold-colored metal frame. The metal plate below the flag is engraved: "TATTED FLAG by KATIE J. YOST, AGE 83 LOGAN, UTAH." Taped to the back of the frame is a typed note stating, "AMERICAN FLAG, TATTED WITH RESPECT FOR PRESIDENT AND MRS. RONALD REAGAN BY KATIE J. YOST EAST 100 NORTH LOGAN, UTAH 1-801-752-5265."

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
