Physical DescriptionA framed wall clock designed to look like the island of Iceland made out of wood. Inset at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions are króna's, Icelandic currency. The other numerals are represented with small gray stones. Along the outside of the frame are two gold colored plaques inscribed with "PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN OCT. 1986, FROM THE MEN AND WOMEN OF AIR FORCES ICELAND."Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
