Physical DescriptionA wooden cabinet with a hinged lid that opens from the right and a pull drawer at the bottom. The cabinet is painted overall with a two-toned green color. On the front center is a large folk art Nativity painting of Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus in a barn setting with two sheep, a cow, and a chicken. The image is surrounded by a repeating floral pattern. The image is numbered 0780107 and signed "© 1980 Jo Sonja" on the front. The inside of the cabinet is painted black with three slots to hold stationary, and each divider is painted with the same flora design on the front.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
