"REBUILDING AMERICA," "Iran Iraq War," "Unemployment," "The '80s," "THE FUTURE," "FEDERAL BUDGET," "TAX REFORM," and "$$" on the front. The back of the postcard is inscribed, "We Need a Change for the Better... Dear Mr. Reagan This is just a reminder to keep the promises you have made if you get the Presidency. Historical NoteStudents at Fremont Ross High School in Fremont, OH made handmade postcards which they sent to the Reagan-Bush Committee during the election of 1980. These postcards have political themes such as the threat of nuclear war, democracy, Iran, the cost of gasoline, and taxes.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
