Physical DescriptionThis is a metal belt buckle in the shape of the NASA space shuttle Columbia. On the back of the buckle is "serial number 377" and embossed "Made in the USA" and the image of an eagle.
Historical NoteIt was given during a trip to Texas November 15, 1981 by an unknown gifter. President Reagan had landed at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX on his way to a turkey hunt at Winston Ranch in Sabinal, TX.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
