Physical DescriptionA metal bank made to look like an elephant balancing a giant jelly bean above its head while standing on a blue base. A white blanket on the elephant's back has "King" written in blue on one side and "Bean" on the other. On the base, "81" is written in gold on one side and "Reagan" on the other. The bottom is embossed with the number 100.
Historical NoteThe bank was given to Rex Scouten, the Chief Usher of the White House, for President Ronald Reagan by the gifter.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
