Physical DescriptionA larger ceramic Easter Egg hand painted with insects, birds, flowers, and a personalized inscription to President and Mrs. Reagan. The inscription states, "To: MR. R. REAGAN MR PRESidEnt OF AMERicA and MRS. Nancy ReaGan, Happy Easter!" The background color of the egg is dark green with gold detailing of flowers and insects all around. The front design features a pink heart with the inscription following the shape of the heart. The words "Happy Easter!" and a yellow and black bird are at the center of the heart.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
