Physical DescriptionThis is a gold-colored metal key to the city of North Las Vegas, Nevada. The bow of the key contains an image of a desert city with the sun rising over the mountains, and text around the edges states, "City of North Las Vegas, Living at its best." The biting is engraved with "Key to the City." The key is inside a gold fabric clamshell box. The inside lid of the box is stamped with gold text, "Entermann Rovin Co MFG Jewlers Pico Rivera Calif 90660."Historical NoteIt was presented at the Meeting of March of Dimes Foster Children March 23, 1981.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
