Physical DescriptionAn oval leather belt buckle with an image of an armadillo on it is attached to a top-grain cowhide belt. Carved into the belt are images of armadillos in the desert and various other desert motifs. The edge of the belt is trimmed and threaded with a gold-toned plastic cord. The belt and buckle were made in Laredo, Texas.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
