Physical DescriptionThis is a battery-powered plastic travel clock with a hinged lid. The outside of the clock is black, and the lid is tan. The inside of the clock is yellow and tan. The numbers on the face of the clock have been replaced with the image of ribbons. Below that are the words "Tie a yellow ribbon." A paragraph of gold text on the inside of the hinged lid states, "In commemoration..." Made by Lee Industries.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through to the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
