Physical DescriptionA paperweight made out of white marble bearing a circular bronze medallion of the "Great Seal of The State of California" above an engraved rectangular plaque. The plaque states, "1880 -1980 California Department of Food and Agriculture County Agricultural Commissioners 100 years of service to agriculture." The bottom of the plaque has four green felt feet and a sticker label "Trophies by Classic Sacramento."

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
