Physical DescriptionThis is a grey metal belt buckle depicting the United States presidential seal with an American flag on each side. The back of the buckle states, "for the exclusive Tony Lama collection state series Solid Brass." The belt buckle is attached to a hand-tooled leather belt size 34 with "Reagan" carved into the back and an outdoor scene on each side of trees and mountains. The leatherwork has been colored.
Historical NoteTony Lama brought his gifts to the 1981 Inauguration of President Ronald Reagan.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
