Physical DescriptionA ceramic sculpture of a cowboy riding a horse that seems to have come to a sudden stop on the edge of a cliff. The cowboy's hat has fallen around his neck. The cowboy is wearing a red bandana, blue shirt, jeans, and a brown vest. The horse is brown with blue eyes and a yellow saddle. Painted on the rock the two are standing on is text stating, "INFLATION, WHOAA... YOU SON-OF-A-BITCH'' in white. The bottom of the sculpture base is covered in green felt.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
