Physical DescriptionA Waterford Crystal cut lead-crystal candy jar (a) with a detachable lid (b). There is a Waterford green and gold sticker near the mouth. The jar has a brown satin ribbon tied around the mouth lettered “DALLOYAU a Paris defuis 1802 at bloomingdales 1802” in gold.
Historical NoteThe candy dish was originally filled with Dalloyau confectionaries. It was a gift to President Reagan from King Hassan II of Morocco for his 75th birthday in 1986.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
