Physical DescriptionA charcoal portrait drawing of President Ronald Reagan dressed in a Cardinals baseball uniform. This representation is from the film "The Winning Team," where Reagan played Grover Cleveland Alexander. In the bottom left corner is the artist's signature. On the back of the artwork near the top is a handwritten note in blue ink stating, "Artwork #21 'The Winning Team' Tommy O'Meara." At the center of the backing is a blue stamp repeated three times: "TOM O'MEARA ORIGINAL." The bottom center of the backing has one blue stamp stating "TOM O'MEARA 6775 CHRISTOPHE-COLOMB MONTREAL, QUEBEC CANADA H2S 2H3 TEL 272 5642."Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
