Physical DescriptionA color photograph of the Ronald Reagan Pub in Ballyporeen, Ireland, in 1987. The photo is looking down a street at three attached buildings in a row, one white and two tan, all with brownish gray roofs, and the taller two with chimneys. The Reagan Pub is the shortest of the three, in the middle, with a wooden door. The sign above the door is lettered “The RONALD REAGAN” in green with a coat of arms at the end. Between the two upstairs windows is a vertical sign lettered “LOUNGE” in red letters. The building on the right is lettered “O’FARRELL” and has arched windows and an American flag flying out front. In front of the buildings are two cars, one blue and one green, and more cars are parked along the street. There is a Yield sign in the intersection. There are people and one dog walking on the sidewalk. More buildings and green hills are in the background. The verso is blank.
Historical NoteThe pub was closed and the interior shipped to California in 2004. It is currently on display at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in the Air Force One Pavillion.
