Physical DescriptionA doll of President Ronald Reagan dressed in a replica of the mourning suit he wore to the inauguration: white shirt, gray waistcoat, gray tie, black mourning suit jacket with white pocket square, gray chalk stripe trousers, and black patent leather shoes. Tied around his left hand is a small black booklet lettered “Costume Dolls by Peggy Nisbet” in white.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
