Physical DescriptionA pair of covered temple jars. The base of the jars is covered with a multicolored design featuring a human-animal hybrid and a figure that appears to be praying. Each jar has a detachable lid with a matching design to the base. One jar has an artificial pink flower, and the other has artificial leaves.
Historical NoteEach of these temple jar contains a flower within. During the Reagan administration they were on display in the White House West Wing Study.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and was on display in the White House until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
