Physical DescriptionA crystal sculpture of a leaping dolphin. There is a gold parallelogram sticker lettered “Baccarat” on the side.Historical NoteThe sculpture was given to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan by Mrs. Galbraith during a visit to Paris during the European Economic Summit June 1982. They dined at the residence of Evan Galbraith, United States Ambassador to France, and Marie Galbraith on June 3, 1982.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
