Physical DescriptionA needlework picture of the White House in a wreath of pinkish-orange flowers on a red background, lettered "Reagan" at the top. At the bottom it is lettered "THE CONGRESSIONAL CLUB, MAY 7, 1981" in tan thread.
Historical NoteIt was given after a ladies' tea held May 7, 1981 at the Congressional Club. During the Reagan administration it was on display in the White House Billiard Room, and afterwards Mrs. Reagan selected it for her personal office at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and was on display in the White House until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
