Physical DescriptionA kidney or heart-shaped bowl decorated in a turquoise, blue, and lilac pattern. The center blue floral bouquet is surrounded by turquoise and yellow ribbons. The back is plain white.Historical NoteAn extremely rare piece, only one set of this Worchester china was ever produced. It dates to 1770-1775. It was given during a visit to England June 7, 1982. During the Reagan administration it was on display in the White House Residence Family Dining Room. President Reagan wrote to Her Majesty and said, "In particular, thank you for the rare set of
Dr. Wall Worcester dessert dishes. We will display these magnificent examples of the British porcelain art with great pride."

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and on display in the White House until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
