Reagan is dressed as a priest. He is placing his finger in the holy water while holding the baby (who has the face of a pig) and talking to the baby's parents. The father of the baby is Rep. Dan Rostenkowski (D-IL). The mother is Sen. Bob Packwood (R-OR). Off to the side of the Church is a crying man labeled SPECIAL INTEREST, who is speaking to another priest.

Historical NoteUpon hearing Ronald Reagan enjoyed political cartoons, the Kiplinger Foundation gave the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library a collection of Oliphant cartoons that covered the range of President Reagan's administration, selected by Pat Oliphant.

Custodial History NoteThe item was created by Pat Oliphant during the Reagan Administration. The Kiplinger Foundation purchased seventy-four original drawings from Pat Oliphant, had them matted and framed, and donated them to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in 1990.
