Physical DescriptionA porcelain commemorative plate for the 75th Anniversary Boy Scouts of America. The plate depicts scouts trying to light a fire with the dates "1910 1985". Stamped in gold on the back of the plate is the Boy Scouts Logo and text stating "[BSA logo] Boy Scouts of America, FROM AN ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING BY ILLUSTRATOR JOSEPH CSATARI © JOSEPH CSATARI 1984, Treasure Masters, MADE IN JAPAN © T.M.C. 1984, 75th Anniversary." Attached with tape to the back of the plate is an information card with a gold colored string.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
