Physical DescriptionA framed image made from silhouettes of a bride and groom in a 19th-century dress. The figures are made out of the words "Ronald Reagan" and "Nancy Reagan." The male figure is holding a cane, and the female figure is holding a bouquet. Between the two figures is a bow and bells with the date "March 4, 1952." The bottom right corner is signed "Ruthie."
Historical NoteThe silhouettes of a bride and groom are lettered "March 4, 1952," which was the date Ronald Reagan and Nancy Davis' were married. It was given as an anniversary gift in 1982--their 30th.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
