He is wearing a mid-tone double-breasted suit, diagonally striped tie, white shirt, and white picket square. The verso is blank.Historical NoteIt was given after a formal visit by the Crown Princess and Crown Princess on October 6, 1987. During the administration it was on display in The White House, West Wing, Picture Room.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and was on display in the White House until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
