Physical DescriptionA brown and white colored marble with a gold-toned metal plaque attached. The plaque states, "This is to certify that Ronald Reagan, President, is a LIFE MEMBER in the California State Horsemen's Association, which was issued in 1981." The card is signed by the President and Executive Secretary of the association. A gold-colored sticker on the back of the plaque has text stating "HECHO EN MEXICO."

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
