Physical DescriptionA 14 pence British stamp commemorating the wedding of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. The image is a photograph of the couple looking at the camera. Prince of Wales is wearing a dark suit and tie and Lady Diana Spencer is wearing a white blouse with a ruffled collar and pearl earrings. In the upper right corner is a silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II in blue, and is lettered “14P” in black below, and “29 July 1981” in white along the lower left edge. Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
