Physical DescriptionA silver plate oval belt buckle with rope edge, filigree design, and a raised silhouette of Texas with a red stone marking the city's location, lettered "Dallas" in the black script below. The back is engraved "The President" and "RUMRIME INC. ©" There is a silver loop and pin.
Historical NoteIt was given at a reception for the Republican National Committee in the East Room of the White House on June 18, 1982.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
