Physical DescriptionThis is a colored photograph of a young Mr. and Mrs Reagan sitting on a bench under a tree. Ronald Reagan is petting a large brown dog while Mrs. Reagan looks at the two. The photograph was taken for a TV Guide article in 1958.
Historical NoteRonald and Nancy Reagan were on the cover of TV Guide #295, issued for November 22-28, 1958. The images were for an article, "Ronald Reagan--Actor, Host, Public Relations Man"

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
