Physical DescriptionA set of gold, silver, and bronze medallions with a bust of Saint John Paul II lettered "JOANNES PAULUS II PONT. MAX ANNO III" on the obverse and two human figures with the letter "ROBUS PACIS VERITAS" on the reverse.
Historical NoteThey were presented to President Reagan by Cardinal Casaroli in the Oval Office December 14, 1981.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
