Physical DescriptionA political badge for the Vice President’s Reception in 1981. The top part of the badge is a silver colored plastic with “Vice President’s Reception, 1981, Floor Committee” engraved in black along with the seal for the Vice President of the United States. Attached to the bottom center of the badge is a red, white, and blue vertical striped grosgrain ribbon. The backside of the badge has a silver fastener and a round silver Award Craft sticker.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
