Physical DescriptionA white and brown ceramic jar with a lid from Elmore Co. in Alabama (a-b). Inscribed on the bottom of the jar is "ALABAMA CLAY MAX—" with four green felt feet. An info card (c) is also included.
Historical NoteThe jar is made of clay from Elmore County, Alabama. It was given when the Miss United Teenagers group toured the White House on December 29, 1981.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
