Physical DescriptionA framed display of Canada 17c flag stamps. The uncut sheet of stamps has a red border at the top and is lettered “Canada… it’s you and me Le Canada… c’est toi et moi” in white. The stamps display the flags of the Canadian provinces and territories, three across and four down. Row 1: Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia; Row 2: New Brunswick, Manitoba, British Columbia; Row 3: Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Alberta; Row 4: Union Jack, NW Territories, Yukon. The stamps are in a gold frame with a brown backing with a stand.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
