Physical DescriptionAn oval brass belt buckle with a textured finish and "STUNTMEN'S ASSOCIATION OF MOTION PICTURES" in raised letters and "HONORARY" in ribbon detail. "© and TM ®" are engraved below the ribbon. A relief design of a movie camera is in the center with stars on the sides. Metal loop and pin fastener on the back. The back is engraved "USA AL SHELTON STUDIO CITY, CA IN 'WHO'S WHO IN THE WEST'" on one end and "THE STUNTMEN'S ASSOCIATION OF MOTION PICTURES AND TELEVISION WAS FOUNDED IN HOLLYWOOD CALIF. 1961 BY PROFESSIONAL STUNTMENT" in the center. On the hook is the Stuntman's Association logo in a circle. The back has a wooden plank design with a star and leaf scrolls on the side with the maker's mark.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
