Physical DescriptionAn oval shape Pre-WW II Chinese platter with a rose medallion pattern. At the center of the platter is a medallion and flowers. Around the edge of the platter are two scenes of a dancer and a musician. The backside of the platter has a red Chinese seal.Historical NoteThe plate, which dates to pre-World War II, was a gift to President Reagan for his 72nd birthday in 1983.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
