Physical DescriptionA Steuben glass vase etched with the Kiwanis logo on the front. There is a twisted piece of glass around the footed base.
Historical NoteA vase was presented to President Ronald Reagan by John T. Roberts, the President Kiwanis International, and Sen. Dick Lugar (R-IN, 1977-2013) during a photo op in the Oval Office on July 12, 1983. The vase was returned and then the engraved was later sent to the White House.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
