Physical DescriptionA cloth doll in the red, white, and blue costume of the Kilgore College Rangerettes drill team: red short-sleeved t-shirt, white lace-up belt, blue knee-length skirt, white hat, and white cowboy boots. The doll has a painted face and brown yarn curly hair. Tied around the doll’s right arm is a blue and white tag lettered “Just Like Me Made especially for President Reagan from The Kilgore College Rangerettes” in blue.
Historical NoteThe Rangerettes drill-team performed at the 1984 Republican National Convention in Dallas, TX.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
