Physical DescriptionA painted rock with an image of an elephant and a donkey. The elephant has one foot on top of the donkey's head. The bottom of the rock is inscribed with text stating, "January 20, 1981, President Reagan Gail Keener Massillon, Ohio."
Historical NoteThe object was given during a White House luncheon in 1981. It was painted by the gifter for the Inauguration.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
