Physical DescriptionThis is a clear glass tumbler by Swarovski. The tumbler is engraved with “FIRST LADY NANCY REAGAN, GERMANY MAI 1985” and has 3D flowers throughout.Historical NoteThe glass was given when President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan toured Europe in May 1985. President Reagan attended the G7 Summit West Germany, and they also made stops in Portugal, Spain, and France.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
