Editorial cartoonist Jeff MacNelly, creator of the beloved comic strip "Shoe," won three Pulitzer Prizes during his long career - in 1972, 1978, and 1985, and many other awards. He was primarily associated with the Richmond News Leader and the Chicago Tribune.
