Harry Stuhldreher played quarterback at University of Notre Dame 1922-1924 under Coach Knute Rockne. He was a member of the legendary "Four Horsemen." He played professionally for the Waterbury Blues and the Brooklyn Horsemen/Lions, and coached at Villanova and Wisconsin, where he also served as Athletic Director. He wrote the books Quarterback Play and Knute Rockne, Man Builder, which was a source for the film Knute Rockne, All American, which starred Ronald Reagan as George Gipp.
