It was presented during a photo op at the White House in the Roosevelt Room May 15, 1985. President Reagan wrote in his diary, "Admin. time: Met the N.C.A.A. Basketball champs (girls) from Old Dominion." Old Dominion was down 11 points in the first half, but came back to win 70-65.
