Physical DescriptionA brown and white Wilson football autographed by the New Yok Jets (a). Three of the panels are white. One white panel is lettered “Wilson MADE IN USA INFLATE 13 LBS” in black. The brown leather grain panel has text stating, “Wilson Official NFL [signature] COMMISIONER American Football Conference National Football Conference” in black. The football has black stitching and white laces. The signatures on the ball include Pat Leahy, Dave Jennings, Kyle Clifton, Rich Miano, Ken O'brien, Freeman Mcneil, Joe Klecko, Barry Bennett, Marty Lyons, Kerry Glenn, Harry Hamilton, Kirk Springs, Rusty Guilbeau, Johnny Hector, Bobby Humphery, Davlin Mullen, Johnny Lynn, Matt Monger, Tony Paige, Mickey Shuler, Jo-Jo Townsell, Wesley Walker, Tom Baldwin, Dennis Bligen, Russell Carter, Donnie Elder, Joe Fields, Charles Jackson, Rocky Klever, Marion Barber, Al Toon, Kirk Springs, Kurt Sohn, Billy Shield, and Guy Bingham.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
