Physical DescriptionA brown and white football autographed by the 1984 University of Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team members. One section is painted white with a white football helmet with a red “N,” a red stripe, and a red facemask. Above the helmet is “To President Reagan” in black, and below is “Huskers” in red and “© 1984” in black. The other is brown grain leather lettered “REACH” above the air hole. The ball has black stitching and white laces. Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Ronald Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
