Physical DescriptionThis is a silver dish with Celtic designs. The dish has three feet and three handles.Historical NoteThe silver bowl was presented on the occasion of a St. Patrick's Day Luncheon March 17, 1981 at the residence of Irish Ambassador to the United States Sean Donlon, Washington, DC. President Reagan said, "Well, I came not bearing gifts of such value, but I did bring a Waterford glass filled with completely green jellybeans."

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Nancy Reagan during the Reagan administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
