Physical DescriptionA baseball with red stitching, stamped “Rawlings HAITI” “*OFFICIAL BALL* NATIONAL LEAGUE [signature] Charles S. Feeney PRES” and “CUSHIONED CORK CENTER RO-N” in blue. It is autographed by members of the team in various color inks.
Historical NoteBaseball autographed by the 1983 Little League World Champion, the East Marietta National Little League of Marietta, Georgia. They defeated Liquito Hernandez Little League of Barahona, Dominican Republic. Marc Pisciotta, who later pitched in the Major Leagues from 1997-1999 for the Kansas City Royals and Chicago Cubs, was part of the team as a 12-year-old.

It was received through the Executive Office of the President Office of Correspondence and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January, 1989 for deposit with the Reagan Presidential Library.
